    Hi Jeff,

Welcome back! Hadn't heard from you in awhile - hope all is okay!

I agree completely with this suggestion; it's one of those little things that can bug you every time you create a Webform. I've got a ticket created and will let you know as I hear from the Engineering team.

Also, want to make sure you noticed that we changed the voting system? I know you'd mentioned that you had run out of votes - now votes are unlimited, but you can only vote on each suggestion once. It's more of a "add your support" tracking system now. As always, adding your vote to a suggestion will ensure that you receive updates as the status changes.

Thanks Jeff, and I hope you have a good evening!

    Hi Dany,

Thanks so much for taking the time to submit this suggestion. I've been able to speak with Tami Urban, the author of the blog post you referenced, and she recognized your question. It sounds like you were able to get an answer from your Account Manager, Zara? If that's incorrect or if you haven't received her message, let me know and I can forward it along.

Either way, though you can calculate some of this information using an Excel export, I do think there is value in us calculating (at least) the time from creation to first order. I'm going to discuss this with our Product Managers who handle the Contacts and Reporting areas and get their feedback. Out of curiosity, how would you like that value to be surfaced within the platform? I can certainly see benefit on segmenting, but would love to see what you would find most useful.

As always, I cannot guarantee that this will be fulfilled, but I will update this ticket as the request moves through the proper channels. I hope to have more information next week. In the meantime, I'm moving this request to Gathering Feedback so we can get comments and votes from other users.

Thanks so much Dany, and don't hesitate to reach out if you'd like to discuss this further. Have a great weekend!

    Hi Jesse (and Brooke!),

Thanks so much for taking the time to send in this suggestion. I apologize for the delay in officially responding but I wanted to speak with the Product Manager who handles Bronto's Reporting and he has been out of the office.

So I have two things to report. Firstly, an overhaul of our messaging dashboards are absolutely on the roadmap. We have a number of reporting-related enhancements in the works and you can see many of them listed on this forum. I'll update here with more information as it's available, but from what I was told by the Reporting team, I think you'll both be pretty happy with what they're cooking up!

However, I also wanted to point out a current option to see some of details you're looking for. Seeing what happened today, this week, last week, last month, etc, is easier than you'd think. Simply go to Messages > Delivery Groups, and select the reporting icon (red pie chat) for the All Deliveries group. When the Delivery Group Report page loads, you'll find a date-filter in the upper right-hand corner. You can easily put in your timeframe here to see how that timeframe has performed. The All Deliveries group is, unsurprisingly, going to give you the metrics all deliveries of all types. The Marketing Delivery Group and Transactional Delivery Group have the same time-frame options if you want to separate out the two numbers.

Let me know your thoughts and if the Delivery Group option will work for you in the meantime. Thanks so much and don't hesitate to reach out if you need anything else!

    Hi Brooke,

Thanks so much for taking the time to submit this suggestion. I really like this idea and think it could make navigation a lot quicker in some areas. We're in the early stages of planning some UI changes, and I'll definitely escalate this request to that team. I don't have a specific timeframe for turnaround, but as I receive any new information I'll update here!

Thanks again Brooke, and let me know if there was anything else you needed!

    Hi Dave,

Thanks so much for taking the time to submit this idea. We're actually already working on something similar, but not involving Workflows.

To my understanding Workflows will always be more focused on subscriber-facing events such as field changes, orders placed, messages sent, etc. We don't have any plans to use the Workflow builder to send internal status reports.

However, if you look at the two below tickets I think you'll find that their these cover the same reports you're looking for, and work has already begun on the first listed.

    http://ideas.bronto.com/forums/74207-ideas-bronto-com/suggestions/1615255-e-mail-reports-automatically-on-a-weekly-montly-ba
    http://ideas.bronto.com/forums/74207-ideas-bronto-com/suggestions/5990503-multiple-dates-your-automated-reports-run-under

Feel free to add your support behind these two submissions if you'd like - it really does make a difference! I'm not sure it makes sense to keep your ticket open separately and would like to merge it with the first ticket I linked above. Your comment and support will automatically carry over. Let me know if this is okay, or if you'd like to discuss further before making that change.

Thanks again Dave, and have a great afternoon!

    Hi Jeff,

Thanks so much for the suggestion! I have a few quick questions before I can move this ticket further.

Your use-case mentioned looking up all contacts as a way to see the number of recent additions. Is this the only scenario where you'd search like that? I ask because we actually have a separate request open to create a "Daily Sign Up" report and work for that has already been started within Engineering. You can view this request below to see if it meets your needs, and add your support or comments as needed.

    http://ideas.bronto.com/forums/74207-ideas-bronto-com/suggestions/4207498-daily-sign-ups-report

In the meantime, as an alternative to you searching for new contacts every day, have you considered setting up a few segments with a dynamic date range? You can create a segment search which looks for "Created Date" within the last X days. Since segments keep themselves up to date, every day it would be looking for a different range. You could glance at the main Segments page to get your current numbers, and could have different segments setup for different time frames - 1 day, 3 days, 7 days, etc.

Let me know your thoughts on if either of these options will work for you!

    Thanks so much,
    - Jocelyn @ Bronto

    Hi Sandeep,

Thanks so much for submitting this recommendation. This is a platform improvement that we have in our queue, but it looks like you're the first to submit on the Ideas forum. I've created a new ticket tied to this forum, and escalated to the Product Manager who handles the Webform product. I do not have a specific timeframe on when a change like this might be published, but I'll keep this ticket updated as I receive any new information.

    Thanks again!

    Hi Kacey,

Thanks so much for taking the time to send in this suggestion. In my testing, when I made edits to an already-activated Popup, I get a reminder on the left hard side of my popup stating "Latest Changes Not Activated". Did you not receive that same warning when you edited? Or is it that you think it should be a more prominent alert? In my opinion "Save & Close" is still an appropriate description for that button, since you can still edit and save NON-active Popups. But I agree there might be more we can do to better call out the second step of reactivating.

I'm happy to escalate this to our Commerce Apps team, but first want to have a clear recommendation for them on how an improved alert could be displayed. If you could describe your "perfect solution", or even email me a screenshot, I'll get this ticket created for you.

Thanks so much Kacey, and I look forward to hearing from you soon!

    Hello again Brooke!

So I think there are actually two requests included here:
    1) Add functionality to do an A/B Split with dynamic content subject lines.
    2) Send an automated email alert with the results from an A/B Winner split test.

Number one is already an existing request, which you can find at the below URL. I'd recommend adding your 'vote' to that submission so that you receive updates as new information is received on that ticket. There is a workaround in the meantime that might work, and I've outlined those steps below.

    http://ideas.bronto.com/forums/74207-ideas-bronto-com/suggestions/4298630-allow-dynamic-subject-lines-on-an-a-b-split-test

Number two is a very interesting idea and one I had not heard before. You may have seen from other tickets that we have a lot of Reporting related enhanced planned out. Several of those involve improved recurring emails and alerts. I will escalate this to the appropriate Product Manager and see if something like this can be included in the roadmap, if it isn't already.

For this ticket I'm going to focus on your second request, while updates on your first request will be on the existing submission I linked below. I hope that makes sense!

Thanks Brooke, and please let me know if I can help with anything else!
    - Jocelyn @ Bronto

    =====
PS: Here's the workaround for if you want to do an A/B Split while using Dynamic Subject lines. It is a bit complex, but should give you the results you're looking for. Support can assist if you run into any problems following these steps.

    a) Create one email and create your subject line A.
    b) Create a copy of that email.
    c) On the duplicated version create your subject line B.
    d) Continue for however many subject lines you have, up to seven in total.
    e) When scheduling the A/B Split, start from message one and select to test on MESSAGE VERSION. Do not choose subject line here, even though it may seem the obvious choice.
    f) You’ll be prompted to choose the messages that you’re looking to test – and you will not be asked to re-set the subject line. The system will just use the subject line directly on each message – in this case, your dynamic versions.

Thanks so much for your patience on this will I discussed your suggestion with our Commerce Apps team. This is something that they already had on their potential features list, and will work to see how they can best include a solution in a future update. Hi Berto,

Thanks for your patience on this! Engineering was able to investigate our request and found that your style tags are being stripped out intentionally. Therefore, this would not be classified as bug.

However, the Engineering manager said that they can investigate if there is need to continue stripping this out - its possible it is something we can allow if circumstances have changed. I've created a new escalation and spoken with the Product Manager in that area. As I get more information on if this is a change we can make, I'll update this ticket with a timeframe on WHEN it might be done.

Thank you again Berto and have a good weekend!

    Hello Berto,

Thanks so much for submitting this idea. I also reviewed the transcript of your live chat session with Support about this subject. Before I proceed with submitting this feature request, I've asked Support to first determine whether this is something that should already be happening. If it is not something we are intentionally stripping, then we'll likely proceed with escalating this as a bug. But if engineering advises that the current behavior is correct, and that we're removing that code for whatever reason, then I can escalate this as an improvement.

For now, I'm going to keep this ticket in the "Received" status, and will update you as soon as we hear back from engineering on our bug vs. feature inquiry.

Thanks so much Berto, and have a great afternoon!

I didn't mean to say that your idea of colors and shapes wasn't viable - more that there is a finite number of each and therefore a limited number of sites you could "tag". Even if we just wind up implementing an open text field for, you could use emoticons to give your list some color! But we do need to consider accessibility, screen-readers and searchability of whatever we go with. Which is why I'm very interested to see what solutions the platform team can provide - especially in light of the other UI work that is ongoing.

I'm going to submit this ticket to Engineering now and will let you know as I receive information back. If you think of any other possibilities please continue to add them here!

Thanks Jeff, and have a great weekend!

    Good morning Jeff!

I really like the idea of adding some type of manual or custom identification to the subaccount pulldown list. However, while you may only have two similarly named sites, some of our other customers have dozens (a few even have hundreds!). For that reason, I'm not sure a color/shape system would be scalable for larger Multi-Brand accounts.

I will absolutely still escalate this suggestion to our platform team, but I'd like to go with a broader request rather than a defined solution. I can include your mockup, but I'd also like to see what our UI team can brainstorm. We have some upcoming projects to revisit the way we manage Multi-Brand accounts, so this suggestion comes at a perfect time.

Let me know what you think of this approach and we'll get this ticket on its way!

    Thanks so much,

    Hi Matt,

What would you think of adding an additional option to the "throttling" choices available for Workflows? We already have an option to disable all new progressions, which basically allows current contacts to finish the Workflow but does not accept any new triggers. Right now that throttle must be manually selected. But if we could add a qualifier to that choice that said "disable all new progressions on X date", I think that would perfectly solve what you're looking for. The Workflow wouldn't technically be deactivated, but the end result is the same - it stops picking up new people. And then you can come in and deactivate it whenever you want, but without a time factor.

Let me know what you think and if this will be a viable alternative. Thanks Matt and I hope you have a great evening!

Thanks so much for taking the time to submit this suggestion. I think this idea makes a lot of sense, and can certainly see how it would save time when scheduling - and eliminate the risk for errors, too! I've created a ticket to track your submission and tied it with our existing Engineering tickets. I know that it has been a frequent topic of conversation, but I don't have much more than that right now. I agree that this would be a great suggestion for text elements on Webforms. Particularly since this type of placeholder text is already supported within the Popup Manager App.

    Good morning Thomas,

At this time I do not have an estimated timeframe on when this may be completed. I do know that it is part of a much larger project which is only just beginning, so I would hazard to say that it will probably not be a quick resolution.

In the meantime I would recommend reaching out to your Account Manager. There may be a temporary solution she can offer either through a custom offering, or API development. Of course, I will continue to keep this ticket updated as I receive any new information or estimates.

    Thanks for your patience Thomas!

We are in the beginning stages of rethinking how we offer Sandbox accounts and other multi-site customers. Making it easier to duplicate elements from one site to another is definitely in the plans. This will certainly include the ability to clone Fields, Lists and Messages. Workflows may not be possible as they would need to point to the new message IDs and that would likely need to be done manually.

I don’t yet have an estimate on when these changes will be available, but will continue to keep this ticket up to date with the current status. Thanks so much!

    Hi Jeff,

Hope you had a good holiday!

I really like this idea and I think it could work both ways. For birthdays you could definitely limit to certain years in the past. But for other dates (like expiration or renewal) I can see only wanting to allow years in the future. We may not be able to change the functionality of the field itself, but I could see adjusting how it renders on a Webform and giving you more control.

Let me escalate this to the appropriate Engineering team and I will let you know their response. I'll keep this ticket updated as I hear more!

    Thanks so much,
