    This sounds like a fundamental change to what a checkbox is. Isn't it just 0/1, T/F, yes/no?

    When I want to test a workflow, I have it filter by membership in a test segment. The test segment includes only email addresses at my testing catchall domain.

    This seems related to a suggestion I made: I want workflows to watch for an event (as opposed to a status, which a segment does). In my case I want to trigger a workflow when a contact clicks a specific link in a specific email. Segments are designed to collect contacts by status ("people who *have* clicked this link any time in the past). Workflows are designed to trigger by event ("when someone clicks this link").

    I your case, having this as a workflow trigger makes sense to me since what you're describing is an event.

    About the inactive part: Would an exclusion list do what you want? They'd still be subscribed and on the lists they chose but they'd be (invisibly) excluded from message deliveries.

    We have people who don't log in to Bronto who benefit from Bronto data. I'd like to be able to, for example, set up a report to email these people once a week with the size of a certain list or segment. I assume many other kinds of data would be useful in these emailed reports, too.

    I often look at our contacts (searching by contains "@") sorted by date created to see how many we've gained in the last day or last few days. It would be helpful if the results table put a bold line between sets of identical values. The logic here might be that, for whatever field it's sorted by, if there's a group of more than five identical values, put a bold line under that record. That number five will prevent a bold line between every individual email address if that's the sort field etc.

    Indeed, shapes and colors would be difficult with dozens of accounts. However, if you allowed multiples, it would become somewhat manageable. (E.g., two blue stars is different from a red star and a blue star side by side, which is different from one blue star.) You could also make it optional, so people with many accounts could label some, none, or all of them as they wish.

    Adding: This should be consistent for all agency users, if possible, so people don't get confused if they're working together. Consistency is key with this kind of indicator.

    I agree that attachments would be helpful. I have to wait for an email reply before I can attach screenshots. That just adds a step when the support people should see the screenshots right away.
