Verify mapped fields
When mapping a field in an email, you should be able to click through the various messages to see what each individual message will look like and verify there are no mapping errors. As it is now, it's not possible to verify that a field is mapping correctly. Ideally you could scroll through, similar to a MS office mail merge before you send it out

Functionality exists.

This functionality can be accomplished by using the "Show Preview" option when editing a message. To add additional contacts to the dynamic preview list, simply go to the contact record, edit, and check the option to "Enable this contact for use in dynamic preview testing."
