Have some place to ask a question on API
I have an issue with sending email. I cannot find my answer anywhere. Where do I put my question?

This feature is available within the Bronto platform. Navigate to Home → Settings → Security → Password Security and you can set the password to expire Never, 1 month, 3 months, 6 months, or 1 year.

Allow API to use _bta_tid for AddConversion.
_bta_tid is the special id passed by bronto to websites which is then stored in a cookie. When the customer checks out this id is passed back via a javascript call to inform bronto on the conversion and identify the user and delivery. We would like to use the API addConversion and not the javascript one. It does not currently accept this special id.
This would make the API fully integrated.

Duplicating Transactional Messages
There should be an option to blind copy transactional messages in order to keep a more detailed record of customer communications. Currently, you can only view a history of which message templates were sent to each customer; not the actual message. If you click on this history, you only view the standardized template. We'd like to store an exact replica of what the customer received. Our customer service department could use this to cross reference communication issues or to refute charge-back claims.

You can view the actual message of each transactional delivery within the user interface. From the Deliveries Grid, you can click the Preview Message Icon (magnifying glass) and see the actual content that was sent to the contact.

Automatically Send Email From Subscription Confirmation Form
I would like the Subscription Confirmation Webform to have the ability to automatically send an email when someone clicks to it in addition to redirecting the user to a new page.

Correction: the email will be sent upon viewing a Confirmation webform, not after submission of one.
You can now send a chosen email message to a contact that views a Confirmation webform. Configuration of this feature can be found in the webform’s Form Settings dialog.

In Workflows, show the active contacts in the trigger as well, so when I import a list and the trigger is 'added to a list', I can see those
In Workflows, show the active contacts in the trigger as well, so when I import a list and the trigger is 'added to a list', I can see those numbers. Especially when the next action is to Delay, I have to wait until the Delay time is up to see how many have been added. Actually, the new ones should show as 'Active' in the next step, shouldn't they, then move to 'Processed' when the delay time has elapsed?

webforms label
In the webform, it would be a great idea to have the possibility to change the label of the field used. (to adapt the webform to different language without having to create new field for each language and only for this purpose)

Allow more control with throttling
It would be helpful to be able to set a message to send, for example, 'on the hour for 12 hours' in order to see which hour performed best. This could also be done with days, parts of hours, etc. Right now, we can only split send times five ways at maximum and it takes a while to set up.

Allow grids/lists with grid-level action buttons to work with items selected on multiple pages
We have the ability to mass add contacts to a list, but I would also like the ability to mass remove a group of contacts from a list. This would appear on All Contacts, List > Contacts and Segments > Contacts.

Verify mapped fields
When mapping a field in an email, you should be able to click through the various messages to see what each individual message will look like and verify there are no mapping errors. As it is now, it's not possible to verify that a field is mapping correctly. Ideally you could scroll through, similar to a MS office mail merge before you send it out

Strip spaces off the contact search
Automatically remove extra spaces wen searching for contacts. Usually I am pasting from a spreadsheet or email and I get a not-found message for just an extra character space at the end. Simple fix.

Workflows: API trigger
Bring back the API Workflow Trigger! What a tease! I'm currently using a workaround, but the briefly available API trigger is the goods.

New list as a trigger event for workflows
Add a new trigger event for when a subscriber is added to a new list. Sometimes a user may be deleted or on another list but I still want them to get a new message because they have subscribed to a particular list. They are not new nor does it trigger a field change.

The List Membership Change node is now live in the Bronto application. This will allow you to trigger when a contact is added or removed to a list.

View Open Rates For Individual Days
I suggest the ability to be able to view the open rates for individual days once they are sent. Right now you can only view the open rates for just the day it sent.

Functionality exists in the dashboard reporting as well as detailed contact download report.

Enable dynamic send times
This would be most helpful in sending per time zone [if the user already had a field populated with subscribers' time zones]. It would streamline the sending and reporting process rather than having to break out and update different automated message rules or regular messages.

Split a list into a few new lists.
Allow me to split a list into 2 or 3 new lists, randomly based on a % I enter.

Workflows: allow filter node repetition within workflow
Allow a filter node to be repeated within a workflow. For example, the system will not currently allow you to check for the same value of the same field more than once in a workflow.

SEGMENTS: Add 'copy segment' button
Need a 'copy segment' button to create similar segments without redoing everything. Since segments can't be based on other segments, it is time consuming to create 4 similar segments that each have 6 criteria but only have 1 of which is different.

You can already copy a segment. Simply press the icon that looks like two pages next to each other. It is located to the right right side of the segment on the “All Segments” page, next to the pencil/edit icon.

Ability to Use If-Empty Tag in Subject Line
Currently this is only available for use in the body content of an email. Would like to be able to personalize the subject line if field is populated and default to something else if not.

This is currently supported. When creating the subject line, you have the ability to click on “Make Subject Dynamic.” This will allow you to utilize the same dynamic content that you can use within the body of the email. For example, if you are personalizing the subject with first name, you can create logic to insert “Valued Customer” if the First Name field is blank.
