  1. Allow exclusion based on 'Received message X" or "received delivery X" within delivery set up (without defining a segment)

    Sometimes we need to schedule a separate delivery for a message and segments may be overapping. It would be convenient to be able to use 'received msg X' criteria in exclusions (without defining a segment for that and then using it in exclusion settings).

  2. Exporting Start Dates for Lists, Segments, and Workflows

    We create lists and workflows for those lists but are unable to segment the date that someone was added to a specific list. We are only able to see the date that they were added to Bronto. In reporting we want to see when these email addresses were added to specific lists, segments and workflows. This will help us to know if after being targted with specific email they made purchases across any retailer platform.

  3. SMS data import

    We currently use the Connector App to import data from NetSuite into Bronto. This data includes several data fields including mobile phone number (custom field). At present we use Bronto only for email messages.

    We now want to use Bronto for SMS as well.

    We are informed that we will have to build a second data import (using the Data Loader) to bring in the mobile phone fields for Bronto to be able to perform SMS message sends.

    Why can the existing custom field with the Mobile Phone be used to populate your Bronto system to cater for SMS send-outs?

  4. Send SMS message automatically within a specific time frame

    When using SMS in automation, there should be rules that can restrict to send the SMS between times that are allowed. For example only send between 8am and 10pm to be able to comply regulations when sending marketing SMS messages during regular "awake" hours.

  5. Message Report: For "Unique Clicks Per Link" List the Actual Leads

    In each "Message Report", under "Clicks", it would be great if you could see individual lead activity rather than having to create segments in order to gleam this information.

    Maybe a link from "Unique Clicks Per Link" to a report showing the individual leads?

    That'd be swell.

  6. Sandbox: Ability to Turn Sending Off or Channel All Mail to a Specific Address (for Development)

    Sandbox accounts currently send all mail as if it were a normal account. And for all intents and purposes, it seems to work exactly like a free account.

    For a sandbox to truly be a sandbox, we need the ability to turn off ALL sending from the account and have messages appear somewhere for our development reviews.

    Alternatively (or in addition), it would be great if we could have messages be channeled to a specific email account (e.g., a developer's account for testing live in an actual email client) with the original variables intact for testing.

  7. Sandbox Accounts: Automatically Approve Transactional Emails

    It would be nice if we didn't have to undergo the approval process for transactional emails in sandbox accounts. Automatic approval would save both you and us time.

  8. Please take a look at the "Done" button for redundancy, or at least re-label it to "exit"

    The function of “done” in the message editing box is only to exit the box. However clicking on "done" does not save the edited content. In plain English,"done" implies that all editing tasks have been completed -- including saving changes. I suggest eliminating "done" entirely to avoid confusion and the chance that changes will be lost.

    The “done” button is redundant and useless and potentially harmful if a user mistakenly assumes (as I did) that “done” means the same as “saved”.

  9. ReturnPath seed lists sent to ALL messages for A/B testing tool: alow proof lists to be sent based on a message, vs. a delivery

    We’ve recently been set-up with ReturnPath. We’re running into an issue while using Bronto’s A/B testing functionality – the tool is splitting all of our lists so that 50% of the emails on the ReturnPath seed list are getting on email creative, and the other 50% is getting the other email creative. However, ReturnPath then registers this information as the seed lists “missing” in the delivery, and impacts what they display as our inbox placement rate.

    ReturnPath tracks by delivery and accounts for their ~900 seed emails. We can schedule the 2 messages as different sends for sure, but this…

  11. Display opt-out numbers in addition to percentages on Delivery Comparison view

    Currently, comparison view only displays percentages for contact loss, while individual message reporting displays both percentages and actual numbers. Since the percentages are generally very small (0.0%, 0.1%), they aren't very useful - but the numbers themselves are.

  14. Ability To Edit Order Data Within The "Edit Contact" Area Of A Specific Contact

    This has been on our list for a while and have brought it up several times with various support reps and account managers over the years.

    While from what I remember being told, it is currently possible to delete and/or revise, individual order data for a contact, using the full API, however being our ecommerce platform does not currently allow us this much functionality, we would just love the ability to be able to simple do it within the "Edit Contact" area for a specific contact.

    Right now, when editing a contact, you are only presented with three sections:

  16. Use in-app notification when a Support case is updated

    Updates to the support cases are getting caught by our spam filter.

    1) updates to a support case should appear with all the other notifications (like "email sent" and "contacts uploaded")

    2) you should not need the support case email link to update the bug. when you are logged into you account you should be able to post responses, updates, and change the status.

  17. Make all webform checkboxes look alike

    I don't know why, but list checkboxes and field checkboxes look different in webforms. Support says they heard from the engineers and this is intentional. It shouldn't be! All the checkboxes should look alike.

  18. Allow direct_update to update fields using automated URL segment like _bta_tid

    Instead of limiting direct_update to the cookie haveing the cookie present, allow it to have a parameter like email, contact API ID and/or use the _bta_tid URL segment. This would make it much easier to update fields for contacts based on browsing, clicking, carting, etc. and give us better control over the data.

  19. have an option to preserve all my HTML in templates and WYSIWIG so my tracking codes don't get modified.

    When I write tracking codes in the HTML of my templates or insert HTML using the WYSIWIG, parts of my tracking code get deleted. I need an option that preserves my HTML.

  20. Allow Manual Sort/Custom Flagging to Subaccount Menu

    Our two brand names look similar in the account dropdown (i.e., they have similar initials and are about the same length). I'd like to have, e.g., a blue circle at the top whenever I'm in one and a red square at the top whenever I'm in another.

    It wouldn't have to take up much space; it could take up just the height of the account dropdown and be positioned just to the right of it. It should be on a white background, so in a white square to the right of the dropdown.
