  1. User Interface

    It would be great if Bronto could improve the user experience a bit more intuitive. Building these email campaigns out are a bit cumbersome.
    The great thing is that the system is very configurable.
    But having to wade through everything becomes a bit complex when you have to build these campaigns out along with a host of numerous other tasks that you face on a daily basis at work.

  2. Segment Renaming Without Refreshing - Top Level Name Edit

    If I want to rename a segment I have to click on it, edit the top, and refresh the whole darn thing. in-line editing would make life so much easier. If I want to change a name of a list, segment, email, web form, etc... I'd like to just edit it without having to click on it. Netsuite has in-line editing, yawl should be able to set that up easy enough now that you're part of them.

  3. Ability to add unique source keys to links in recommendations premium

    One of our biggest sticking points for not moving forward with using the premium recommendations is that we rely heavily on our own unique source keys for tracking and attributing our email conversion in our order system. If we could add our own unique source keys so we track sales outside of Bronto we would be on board to sign up in the future.

  4. Segment by Payment Type

    We would very much like to segment customers by payment type. For example, if a user likes to check out w/ Amazon Payments, we would like to customize a message that reminds them that we accept Amazon Payments.

  5. Change Link Fixer Tool to work on individual links rather than as a search&replace

    The Link Fixer tool mentioned in the above blog post is a life-saver, but I realized today that it is flawed. The Blog post would have you believe that what you are doing is changing individual links, when this is not true. What it is actually doing is doing a search&replace on the entire message and changing all instances of the "wrong" link with the "fixed" link.

    This works great when you realize that you sent out an e-mail with a link that is just straight wrong... But not so much when you've sent an e-mail and accidentally left…

  6. New Workflow Filter: Field Override

    A "Field Override" would be awesome in cases where you don't wan't to permanently change a contacts field, but temporarily override it for a specific email. For example, certain sales/events might necessitate that we link a customer to a different store over what store they have on record. We have over 100+ locations, and it just isn't efficient to create the multiple dynamic content blocks needed just to redirect from an Outlet location to the nearest full Showroom.

  7. Integrate with Oracle Service Cloud

    Now that Bronto is an Oracle Service Cloud, it would be nice to have integration between them.
    With that integration we would be able to see what email campaigns have been sent and when so our front-line staff could assist the customer better.

  8. OrderID's on Bulk readDeliveries

    OrderID's needs to be available via the readDeliveries call. Apparently this is currently available ONLY on single recipient deliveries, but it also needs to be available for bulk deliveries. We used to just grab these somewhat manually out of the BMP, but apparently you are now limiting this data set to the most recent 100 orders. So if we go over 100 orders, we have no visibility on those orders via BMP or API.

  9. Segment & List Staggering - X Emails Every Hour for X Hours

    Here's the thing, I don't want to send thousands of emails all at once, and neither do I want to send 1,000 an hour as your native staggering does. Ideally, to beat the BULK tagging that happens on the ESP side of things I want to be able to say send X email per hour from X segment until complete. Or even better, send X emails per hour from X segment until complete but only from the hours of 9-5. That way, i can make an email, and have it trickle out only during business hours, only at 250 or…

  10. Default Dynamic Preview Testing List

    I offer a (3) suggestions for making dynamic preview testing easier:

    Suggestion 1:
    It would be extremely efficient to just have the Bronto system automatically look for a default Dynamic Preview Testing list called, "Dynamic Preview Testing." Way more convenient than enabling contacts one at a time.

    Suggestion 2:
    Just add a single checkbox option to toggle all users on any given list (when creating/editing a list) so that they are selected for Dynamic Preview Testing. Example: [] Enable these contacts for use in dynamic preview testing.

  11. pop up manager ip tracking

    It would be great to restrict pop up manager to an IP address so that it does not keep appearing to users. Cookies are often deleted by users.

  12. Bulk Exporting

    I would like to have an exporting system to provide stats for each message sent over a period of time, rather than stats on the entire month without specific data recorded for each message. The current workflow to do this is to navigate to the comparison reports tab and select each individual message to pull metrics on that message over a period of time. To find which messages have been sent and opened during a specific timeframe, we pull from google analytics.   13. Segment based on contact opened the last "number" of messages delivered

    There is an option to segment on contacts who have not opened the last "x" number of emails to target non engaged contacts. There is no option for the reverse to target engaged contacts. Allow us to segment on contacts that have opened the last "x" number of messages or deliveries.

  14. Notification when contact performs an action

    It would be great if we had the option in a workflow to notify us about a contact performing an action. For example, if a contact is getting added to a list by the workflow, someone from the company would get a notification that the contact has been added.

    It would allow us to follow up instantly on the leads with a phone call etc

  15. Make Example files Easier to find

    The onboarding process would be a lot easier if you put on the Data Loader page a simple list with hyperlinks to all the sample files. Currently you have to go through the navigaiton and setup the loads, which as a new client you would not normally do.

  16. Merge Contacts

    Merge Contacts.

    This is a standard feature of CRM platforms and is a gap of teh system.
    Oracle+Relate's system does have this feature but because it can not be translated to Oracle+Bronto the contacts will desync.

  17. Pop-up version for mobile that is bottom aligned to screen

    Due to the restrictions Google places on pop-ups without being penalized in SEO, it's hard to leverage the pop-up functionality for mobile traffic. Plus, mobile is a growing segment that for many sites is surpassing desktop traffic. There is a huge missed opportunity for sites to capture email addresses from their mobile traffic. Being able to bottom align the pop-up on the screen for mobile (and desktop even) so that it takes up only 25-30% of the screen would be helpful. A lot of sites are taking this approach.   18. Allow a message's campaign to be carried over when a message is copied.

    If a message is being copied, it would be helpful for that message's respective campaign to also be copied over to the new message.

  19. Segment Specific Link clicked for messages that have not been delivered

    We usually build our segments in advanced (before the message is sent/ delivered) and these segments are sometimes used as triggers for another action with the workflow. It would be desirable to be able to set-up a segment, based on a ‘specific link clicked’ before the message is sent. At the moment, if the message has not been delivered the result in the segment is ‘0 links found’ (see screenshot attached) and therefore we cannot set-up the segment until the message has been delivered.

  20. Make preferred send time a field

    I have seen this be suggested for 'contact exports' but this would be useful to create segments for contacts who preferred to be emailed in periods of the day. IE morning afternoon evening

    We cannot always use send time optimization, due to it running over 24 hours. In a sale period, this could mean customers could receive the email after an offer has closed.
