Round Robin Equal Split filter in Work Flows
At present we're testing 5 different time delays in our Abandoned Cart workflow. We randomly make a contact wait 1, 3, 6, 12 or 24 hours before sending them a message by changing their contact field after passing through a Random filter. The message they receive then differs depending on the contact field the recipient has.
Ultimately we will leave one to two, time delays in the workflow depending on how they perform. Although it'll take a long time to accumulate enough data to determine which times are the winner, it'll never truly be a fair test because the random split filter can end up sending more contacts to one option over another.
A simple split filter using 'round robin' would be perfect and would ensure that all times get an equal share of contacts. Our analysis would then be more accurate before decided a winning time to leave permanently in the workflow.
