Data Loader Issue

We noticed that the data loader for our RFM feed is not properly ingesting data. We are sending files with several thousand contacts and only a few hundred are being processed. This does not happen daily which leads me to believe that your system is hitting an error once it reaches a certain contact and then rather than skipping the contact it stops ingesting. We found that the character in the data that is causing the error is a quotation mark.

The data loader should just skip that contact not break entirely.

In general, Data Loader does have functionality in place to skip rows with detectable invalid characters instead of halting a job altogether.

In the support ticket that eventually spawned this feature request, it was ultimately discovered that the specific issue in that case was quotation mark character escapement that caused the CSV file itself to be malformed.
