Inbox management system
Add an inbox management system where, upon setup, you tag your email with a specific characteristic -I.e. Promotional, editorial. Then if a contact is eligible to recieve two emails in one day, the inbox management system looks at historical metrics of the email (can set it up to look at click or revenue) and sends out the delivery that, based on historical info of other emails in that category, will produce the best results. The email that doesn't win will get pushed to the next day where it will challenge the next days email. This helps avoid inbox clutter/overwhelming the customer in one day and minimizes opt out rates due to email fatigue. A tool I've had in the best and is super valuable to companies.
