Permanent Link Assignment
It would be so nice to have the ability to assign all clickers from all emails, or all emails within a given delivery group, to specific lists based on their click behavior rather than having to do this on a per-message basis. For example, if we have several links that are routinely included in every email (header items, nav, social), and every time they're clicked, I'm going to want to add them to the same list, it would be terrific to be able to set this up once globally and then change it in a given message if needed/wanted (EG: clicks to "women's" always get added to the "women's clicker" list but then for a given message, we might also add them to a secondary list). This would save a lot of post-send time and improve reporting.
Great suggestion - and one that should already be possible!
Our Segment builder has an option to identify all users who click on a specific link. You can search for that link within a specific message, delivery group, or across the full account.
When building a segment, go to the Email category and select 'Specific Link Clicks'. Change the pulldown menu from Delivery to 'All Messages'. The segment will then allow you to point to a specific URL, or even a portion of a URL. This can be helpful if you want to identify people who click to specific categories versus specific products.
Once you save the segment it should calculate everyone who has clicked the desired link. It is important to note that link clicks are only stored for the length of your Data Retention with Bronto.
