New Message Editor Default Products in Previewer

This was touched on and declined a while back however this may have been before the default products update (Ref: http://ideas.bronto.com/forums/74207-ideas-bronto-com/suggestions/3154168-make-dynamic-code-work-in-inbox-previews)

If the email has default products set up then why can those not be pulled in and populated when running Previewer?

The dynamic tags, or the void created by them has a very adverse effect on the renderings in a variety of platforms and is seemingly unecessary. I understand if not all dynamic tags and content can be delivered, but for a product, where the code exists before it sends to Litmus, seems like an oversight.

The value and usefullness of Previewer is severely hampered by this limitation and it seems unecessary.

Seems like a logical next step. We have the ability to add the product tags and set a default product for the placeholders. Should be able to preview them as well. Really makes it tough to make changes to fine tune the look when you have to fire off a test message each time.

I agree. We utilize Product Tags extensively and the inability to see our messages correctly without using up some of our email message sends is not only a functional issue, but a financial burden as well.

This could and should be as easy as adding product placeholder fields to the Overview page before starting a test - there is already a "Preview as" option, so it can process dynamic variables/content.
