Webforms do not work on HTTPS pages
Out of box Webforms does not support https. We currently migrated our site to be fully https. However Bronto internally uses a client specific domain to post the webform data. It requests the client what domain name they would like to use during setup. Although hosted on Bronto servers, as the domain is specific to the client there is no certificate on it. Hence the rendering of the forms is stopped by the browsers. We copied the actual form onto our site to a page and replaced the post domain to "https://apps.bronto.com/" which is what bronto suggested. But that has also got an issue. If there are any mandatory fields in the from and there is a validation error, when Bronto returns the form it changes the post url back to the client specific non https domain. We had to add our own validation to stop that from happening. If you want to host the form on a secure page you have to do quite a lot of manual work. Keeping in mind that we are collecting sensitive client data Bronto should not allow posting to non secure links in the first place.
Hi, we're having the same problem for months now, I addressed it with my Bronto account manager, but no solution yet, which is striking for a platform like Bronto. Under the GDPR it is even prohibited to send data over non secure links, so Bronto you need to fix this quickly! The 25th of May is approaching fast.
So, its been over a year...any updates?
Any update on this? We are moving our site over and I want to know how I can fix this so I don't have issues like other mentioned they have run into.

Any update on this? It's causing huge issues with posting data from a client's website.
I'm having that same issue too.
Any updates on making the webforms HTTPS friendly?
Thanks so much for submitting this recommendation. This is a platform improvement that we have in our queue, but it looks like you're the first to submit on the Ideas forum. I've created a new ticket tied to this forum, and escalated to the Product Manager who handles the Webform product. I do not have a specific timeframe on when a change like this might be published, but I'll keep this ticket updated as I receive any new information.
