  1. Data loader (order) error messages should be friendly

When I use Data Loader to delete orders, and the file contains order IDs that are not in the Bronto system, I receive a mix of the following 2 errors in the report file. These errors should be more user friendly, e.g. "Order ID 1234567 was not found".

Task failed to produce a result: com.mongodb.MongoInterruptedException: Interrupted acquiring a permit to retrieve an item from the pool at com.mongodb.internal.connection.ConcurrentPool.acquirePermit(ConcurrentPool.java:203) at com.mongodb.internal.connection.ConcurrentPool.get(ConcurrentPool.java:140) at com.mongodb.connection.DefaultConnectionPool.getPooledConnection(DefaultConnectionPool.java:259) at com.mongodb.connection.DefaultConnectionPool.get(DefaultConnectionPool.java:100) at com.mongodb.connection.DefaultConnectionPool.get(DefaultConnectionPool.java:89) at com.mongodb.connection.DefaultServer.getConnection(DefaultServer.java:80) at com.mongodb.binding.ClusterBinding$ClusterBindingConnectionSource.getConnection(ClusterBinding.java:98) at com.mongodb.operation.OperationHelper.withReleasableConnection(OperationHelper.java:433) at com.mongodb.operation.MixedBulkWriteOperation.execute(MixedBulkWriteOperation.java:189) at com.mongodb.operation.BaseWriteOperation.execute(BaseWriteOperation.java:147) at com.mongodb.operation.BaseWriteOperation.execute(BaseWriteOperation.java:52) at com.mongodb.Mongo$3.execute(Mongo.java:837) at com.mongodb.Mongo$3.execute(Mongo.java:818) at com.mongodb.DBCollection.executeWriteOperation(DBCollection.java:341) at com.mongodb.DBCollection.update(DBCollection.java:563) at org.mongodb.morphia.DatastoreImpl.update(DatastoreImpl.java:1488) at org.mongodb.morphia.DatastoreImpl.updateFirst(DatastoreImpl.java:833)…

  2. Data Loader - allow compressed files

Allow files processed by the Data Loader to be uploaded in a compressed format, e.g. .zip or .gz. Especially for Orders, this could significantly reduce the file size since the product description, category, url and image url are repeated many times.

  3. Schedule Dataloader on a time

Currently we have to break our data uploads into 2 file, uploading every hour for 5 hours. However as the time in the hour cannot be specified and keeps changing we are struggling to automate this process without causing the Data Loader to get "stuck"

  4. data loader

It would be useful if we could actively cause the processing of an upload using the Data Loader app, rather than having to wait for the next hourly run to pick up a file.

  5. Reflect preferred time zone in Data Loader page

it would be helpful if the date of last run and import job are based on preferred time zone as saved in the account setting

  7. Fix the Stop Data Loader Job function

Our hourly data loader process becomes stuck on occasion. It takes a day or more to get support to escalate to engineering to un-stick the process. This is frequent. We would like the existing Stop Running Import to un-stick the process. This would allow us to self-fix stuck jobs otherwise the backlog of import files is intolerable after lengthy outages..

  8. Data Loader Date Format Builder Fix

The Data Loader allows for the building of custom date masks for the import of data. We have done this but the mask does not work for the time portion of the date. The Date Format Builder function does not allow us to properly test and build the correct date format for our data. It only provides one example and does not allow the building of a date format (contrary to its title). Also, the done button does nothing. It would be nice if this window worked as its title implies.

  9. Make Example files Easier to find

The onboarding process would be a lot easier if you put on the Data Loader page a simple list with hyperlinks to all the sample files. Currently you have to go through the navigaiton and setup the loads, which as a new client you would not normally do.

  10. "STOP" or "X" button when Bronto is loading, like on a web browser

I both like and dislike that Bronto saves your last search criteria when you click on all deliveries or all messages.

However, if you're looking to load ALL DELIVERIES, you have to sit there and wait, and wait, and wait, for Bronto to load your last searched results first. THEN you can delete the search field and load ALL DELIVERIES finally.

I'd love to see a "stop" or an "x" button while results are loading, so you don't have to wait minutes for results you don't want to finish loading, before you can search for the results you really DO…

  11. Data Loader: E-mail Notify only on error

When using the Data Loader API, we have the "Email me when finished" option. What we want is to NOT be e-mailed when finished, but we DO want to be e-mailed if something went wrong with an import. This way, we can be notified if something went wrong, without having to sift through 100 emails all telling us that everything is OK.
