  1. SQL in workflow nodes for manual control of the data

    Workflow nodes are limited. For example, today I need to (conditionally) copy the value from one contact field to another, but the nodes can't do it.

    If a special workflow node allowed entry of free-text SQL, users could write whatever triggers, filters, or updates they need.

  2. Send Emails Based on Date AND Time When Contact is Added

    We are noticing that number of opens is significantly higher after 9am through 4pm. Are we able to delay the email message if a contact/email is added between 4pm and 8am and send the email at 9am? We think this would improve our open rate.

  3. Round Robin Equal Split filter in Work Flows

    At present we're testing 5 different time delays in our Abandoned Cart workflow. We randomly make a contact wait 1, 3, 6, 12 or 24 hours before sending them a message by changing their contact field after passing through a Random filter. The message they receive then differs depending on the contact field the recipient has.

    Ultimately we will leave one to two, time delays in the workflow depending on how they perform. Although it'll take a long time to accumulate enough data to determine which times are the winner, it'll never truly be a fair test because the random…

  5. In Workflow/Pick a Segment, show the full segment name upon hover

    See the screenshot: Longer segment names are indistinguishable in the Pick a Segment popup. Having the full name appear upon hover would be helpful.

  6. Workflow option: Empty field

    I'd love to have the ability to empty a contacts field information completely using workflows.

    Today I have a workflow set up that fills the field "Store_Name" if a contact subscribes from a physical store. All other contacts, with field "Store_Name" is "Empty", are what we call webshop-contacts. But, if a contact from our physical store goes into our webshop and wants to subscribe to the web-list in stead, they wont be included in the segment, as the segment is "Store_Name" is "Empty".

  7. Allow reply-to address management in workflows

    It would be nice to be able to change reply-to address when we want to send an email in workflow. This option is available in classic (regular) delivery option and is very helpful. It will allow to redirect user's reply to the right service and not a generic email.

  8. Be able to import/copy paste a lot of SKUs/Product ID/ page at once

    Be able to pull specific event/action and bring the product into an email. For example, we want to show a specific product from a certain category or with a specific brand name and only show that one or those product that meet that criteria and NOT show ALL the products that were viewed or carted.

  9. Cart/Order Field Comparison Filter

    I would like to see the cart/order field comparison able to use the cart update date and cart created dates. In fact I would like to be able to use all of the cart fields. without the need for an order.

  10. New Workflow Filter: Field Override

    A "Field Override" would be awesome in cases where you don't wan't to permanently change a contacts field, but temporarily override it for a specific email. For example, certain sales/events might necessitate that we link a customer to a different store over what store they have on record. We have over 100+ locations, and it just isn't efficient to create the multiple dynamic content blocks needed just to redirect from an Outlet location to the nearest full Showroom.

  11. Notification when contact performs an action

    It would be great if we had the option in a workflow to notify us about a contact performing an action. For example, if a contact is getting added to a list by the workflow, someone from the company would get a notification that the contact has been added.

    It would allow us to follow up instantly on the leads with a phone call etc

  12. Addition to Trigger "Contact Is Added" for Workflows

    It would be great if we could amend the trigger "Contact is Added" so that it includes a toggle for

    "Contacts who change from Unsubscribed status to Onboarding (will/will not) be included."

  14. Workflow - Dynamic Date

    I need the ability to compare a field or send to a dynamic date within workflows. For example, I have created lists to track different acquisition methods (Desktop Modal, Mobile Modal, Email Signup Page, Web Footer, etc). I would like to know how the contacts from each acquisition method performs over time, for example we give a discount for email signup in our Modals, but don't offer that on our email signup page. Over the long term, are we just collecting junk email addresses and duplicates so that our customers will get their discount?

  15. Price Alerts

    Want to allow customers to set their own prices and when the products hit that price, want an email to be triggered saying "the product you were looking for is on sale/has reached your desired price".

    For example, shirt is currently listed for $100. On customer's profile, they like the shirt and say notify me when price is $50. Shirt goes on sale to $50 - want email going out notifying user that shirt has reached their desired price point.

  16. Workflow Evaluation Time Period

    Now that Oracle is involved with Bronto, another Oracle marketing automation product Eloqua, allowed you to set up "evaluation periods" on filters on the workflow canvas. These evaluation periods would allow you to continually evaluate whether you meet the criteria in the decision filter. For example, a contact is sent an email, then a filter comes up saying clicked any link - and I would set the evaluation period to 30 days. If the contact clicked any link within that 30 day timeframe, they would immediately go down the yes path. So if they click an email after 14 days,…

  17. Send SMS message automatically within a specific time frame

    When using SMS in automation, there should be rules that can restrict to send the SMS between times that are allowed. For example only send between 8am and 10pm to be able to comply regulations when sending marketing SMS messages during regular "awake" hours.
