  1. Looping in workflows

    It would be really good if we could loop in workflows, we have come across multiple instances where we want a customer to repeat a section of a workflow multiple times if they hit a certain criteria but can't because we are unable to loop.

    As an example, in one of our workflows, if a customer has received an email today we would want to delay that send until the next day, when the next day comes we would want to check if they have had an email today again and if not delay the send again. However, we can't…

  3. Pause Node Option for Workflows

    I think there should be an ability to Pause a node in automated workflows. When a particular node is paused, the contact could then 'skip' past the paused node and just keep moving through the workflow as if the 'paused' node is not there.

    This would be useful if there's a particular email featuring a product that is currently out of stock or an email with older content that needs to be updated before a contact can move through the workflow.

  4. Allow access to workflow progression by contact debug screen

    Apparently Bronto support has access to a tool that shows the progression of a single contact through a workflow. The attached is a sample that support sent me in a support case.

    Please make this available to all users. It would be very helpful in debugging workflows.

  5. Workflow Logical Conjunctions on Cart/Order Lines

    Using a Workflow to automate messaging around Cart items is missing logical conjunctions on cart lines. The gap prevents us from passing a test where a product code starts with a particular sequence AND there are at least 4 quantity for that product code on the same line item.

    We also face an issue where we are looking for a cart or order where a code starts with a particular sequence OR another sequence on the same line item.

    This functionality exists in the Message Dynamic Code but is missing from Automation (workflow).

  6. Fix workflows and Nodes so they don't show 'Active' contacts when there aren't any

    It seems that either contacts are getting stuck in workflows/nodes or ther is a problem keeping count of who is in a workflow. Workflows and nodes withing workflows often show a number of contacts being active when there is no possible way there can be (should be) anyone in in the workflow/node. If I click the 'active' on the node it doesn't show any contacts but even then the number doesn't reset or go to zero.

  7. In the workflow node "Contact is Added," add an option for re-subscribed contacts.

    The workflow trigger node "Contact is Added" currently reads:

    -----
    Begin workflow when a new contact is added to your account. Contacts who change from Transactional status to Onboarding or Active [will/will not] be included.
    -----

    Please add an option of "Contacts who re-subscribe [will/will not] be included." Depending on the workflow, we want re-subscribing contacts to receive the welcome email again.

  8. Specify a "business day(s)" option for delay notes

  9. throttling option to Start Over when retriggered

    if a contact meets the 'trigger' requirements and is already in the workflow it would be nice if the contact could restart the workflow. Any other instances of the contact in the workflow would be ended/removed. This would be espcially helpful in abandoned cart workflows but any workflow that involves a timed sequence of events might also benefit.

  10. Workflow decision block based on current real world values

    I would like a decision node with Yes and No paths that checks the current day of the week and hour of the day. If a contact gets to a certain node on Monday we might send them a message at 6 PM. If they get to the same node on Sunday we may send the same message but we might send it at Noon. I don't want to delay the contact and wait for a particular day, I want to change the flow based on the current day (i.e. Is Today Sunday: Yes or No.). The same is true…

  11. Prioritize workflows and limit the number of times a contact may simultaneously be on workflows to a number of times

    We are currently working with several workflows and creating more and more of them. I need to be able to prioritize between workflows (in an easy way) to make sure contacts can be in 1 (or 2 at the utmost) workflow at a time.
    There should be an option to limit the number of times a contact may simultaneously be on workflows to a number of times. For example have an overview of active workflows in which you can easily prioritize them.

  12. Allow Workflow trigger on Radio Button change of any kind

    currently it seems the trigger requires me to specify the new value of the radio button for the trigger to be effective. In some cases it would be much easier for workflow creation and maintenance if the trigger simply checked for the field value was changed and then I can check all situations in a single workflow. I think it is true for all field values that often times I would like to have any change to a particular field trigger the workflow so you might go in that direction but it is especially frustrating for check boxes and radio…

    Please add Order Date to the Cart/Order Field Comparison node in workflows. We recently migrated our website from one platform to another and the all the contacts/orders from the old platform came in with an Order Created Date of the day of the migration, not the original order date. So, guests who made a purchase in 2014 received a Thank You for Your Purchase email on July 10, 2019.

  16. Node - Timeframe

    We need to be able to restrict recurring emails to send only on weekdays, during specific timeframe (with times local to customers), and restrict other days like holidays. Currently we have to build all of this on our end, so it really limits the effectiveness of Bronto for us.

  17. Workflow - Allow Changes on Active Workflows that will apply to all unprocessed Contacts

    Allow Changes on Active Workflows that will apply to all unprocessed Contacts.

    For instance, I changed the "delay" time to later in the day on a workflow I was working on. However, all contacts "active" on that node still processed. Yikes.

  18. New trigger "Order is Delivered"

    Just like how the "Order is Shipped" node is triggered, have one that exists for "Order is Delivered". Many systems are now able to determine if an order has been delivered via integrations with postal/courier services. This allows for more accurate post-purchase marketing by accommodating for delivery delays and failures.
